Heldwine Family Winery
A visual identity concept
for a wine brand developed through in-depth studies of an object. |

Iconography
The Challenge
I employed design thinking through traditional drawing, explored communication of a three-dimensional form in two dimensions, and experimented to develop a final icon and application system.
Approach
I began with technical drawings to practice perspective construction before beginning basic form studies on the object. I chose to study a waiter’s corkscrew.
The series included an analytical drawing, a digitial descriptive line translation, a light and shadow rendering, and a digital graphic translation.
I then developed an icon and explored its application through a conceptual wine brand.
